简介：Sophie loved Edmund, but he left town when her parents forced her to marry wealthy Octavius. Years later, Edmund returns with his son, William. Sophie's daughter, Marguerite, and William fall in love. Marguerite's sister, Marianne, also loves William. Timothy, a lowly carpenter, secretly loves Marianne. He kills a man in a fight, and flees to New Zealand. William deserts inadvertently from the navy, and also flees in disgrace to New Zealand, where he and Timothy start a profitable business. One night, drunk, William writes Octavius, demanding his daughter's hand; but, being drunk, he asks for the wrong sister.The plot involves a deranged paraplegic occultist and a Sumerian Goddess who create a spell that raises Zombie! (spelled with an exclamation point) from his grave. Zombie! goes on a killing spree in New Orleans during the Mardi Gras festivities. A trio of filmmakers get word of this and try to capture Zombie! on film. An overweight ninja and Galileo, newly released from purgatory, also chase Zombie! through New Orleans’ crowded streets. Throughout the film are comedy sketches and sight gags that are not related to the plot, including numerous shots of bare-breasted ladies flashing the Mardi Gras crowds.Anthony Dexter---bare-chested most of the film with the smoldering nostrils from "Valentino"---as "Captain Kidd" is saved from hanging by an Earl who wants to get his hand on Kidd's treasure. The Earl thinks the best method is to put a woman confederate (Jeanine Duvall) aboard Kidd's ship as a slave girl to wrest or wrestle the information from him. They fight a lot as a prelude to falling in love, and then work together against the evil Earl's none-too-well laid plan.
